The mission of the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art is to excite, engage, and educate through the arts. With over 8,000 works of art ranging from Roman times to the present day, the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art draws visitors from all 50 states and more than 25 foreign countries every year. Possessing the world's largest collection of work by famed Cedar Rapids artist Grant Wood- a portion of which is always on view -  CRMA presents 12-18 exhibitions annually in its 16 galleries. These exhibitions are accompanied by a robust series of educational programs, both for children and adults. In addition, the CRMA hosts numerous school tours not only from Cedar Rapids but also from several surrounding communities.
