MEMBERSHIP DUES

Alumni membership dues directly funds the Youth LFS Program which allows area high school juniors to participate at no cost to them or their school. As an alum of the program, thank you for investing in the next generation of leaders in our community!

Alumni dues can be paid in 3 different ways:

1 Year Membership: $50
3 Year Membership: $125
Lifetime Membership: $500

**Alumni dues goes towards the calendar year within which it was paid, unless it is paid in November or December, when it will count for the following calendar year. While dues will be accepted at any time, payment is encouraged prior to, or by the end of, Q1 as the spring event in April is for dues-paying alumni only.

Help support the LFS Adult Class of 2025 by donating to their class project! This class is raising funds to support two incredible organizations: HACAP and Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity. These organizations are working tirelessly to address two major needs in our local community: housing and food insecurity.

HACAP is dedicated to fighting food insecurity through its food pantry, providing essential nutrition to local families in need.
Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to building, rehabilitating, and repairing safe, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with local families.

The goal is to raise $20,000 to support the construction of a new affordable home and any proceeds beyond that goal will be donated to HACAP's NW Neighborhood Resource Center (formerly Olivet Mission).

Josh Turner, a loyal member of traditional country music, continues to impress with his latest album, "This Country Music Thing." More than two decades after his debut, Turner remains committed to his roots, with his deep, resonant bass voice and dedication to quality craftsmanship. While the music industry has seen many changes, Turner has stayed true to his style and is now enjoying a period of creative confidence.

Born in South Carolina and shaped by faith and country music, Turner first gained recognition with his 2001 Grand Ole Opry debut. His blend of classic country, gospel, and Appalachian influences quickly established him as a unique voice in the genre. Over his career, he has sold over 6 million albums, including the Platinum-certified "Long Black Train" and the 3X Platinum "Your Man," and has accumulated five Number Ones and 15 RIAA certifications.

Turner's new album features 11 tracks, three of which he wrote himself, including the title track, which he describes as a tribute to his career and mindset. The album blends modern sounds with traditional country elements, including driving rhythms and rich instrumental textures, all anchored by Turner's commanding vocal performance.

A notable feature of the album is Turner's personal touch, including the fiddle-drenched "Whirlwind" and the tender "Pretty Please," which features a cameo by his wife, Jennifer. The final track, "Unsung Hero," is a heartfelt tribute to his grandfather, reflecting Turner's appreciation for the support he has received throughout his career.

Turner remains humble and grateful for his success, emphasizing his ongoing desire to connect with fans and keep country music's traditions alive while introducing fresh elements. His dedication to his craft and the genre is evident throughout "This Country Music Thing," making it a significant addition to his already impressive body of work.

Tickets are $76.50, $66.50 or $55.50 plus tax and an online/phone ticketing fee (this fee is waived when tickets are purchased in the Gift Shop). Tickets in the ADA section are for patrons with mobility disabilities and up to three companions. If companion seating is not available because the ADA section is sold out, RCGR will offer other seats as close as possible to the accessible seat, if available, at the purchase price of the other section. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 13 at 10 AM. Tickets can be purchased in the Gift Shop, by calling 319-648-1234 or online.

AAA Cedar Rapids will be hosting a TSA PreCheck® enrollment event in collaboration with IDEMIA, a TSA PreCheck authorized enrollment provider. Travelers will be able to enroll at 1519 42^nd St. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 from March 18-21 from 9am -12pm and 1pm to 5pm each day. The program is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and lawful permanent residents.

The enrollment process is quick, convenient and even faster when the application is completed online beforehand. Since 1987, this event has honored those who are involved in all aspects of agribusiness and play a vital role in building and growing a dynamic agricultural industry. Each year this event brings nearly 700 attendees from across Eastern Iowa to enjoy an evening of networking, food, and a keynote speaker. This year we welcome Andrew McCrea, host of the "American Countryside" radio broadcast, as our keynote speaker.

The Celebration of Agriculture is a proud supporter of HACAP (Hawkeye Area Community Action Program). We will have buckets placed at each table to collect a free will donation to support HACAP. Since 1987 a donation has been taken during the evening event to present to HACAP. They work diligently to reduce food insecurity in seven Eastern Iowa counties including Linn, Benton, Jones, Johnson, Washington, Iowa and Cedar.
