The Chorale is excited to host the second annual Pianopalooza fundraiser. This year Pianopalooza will be pulling out all the stops and bringing an entire band to play all your favorites. This show isn't just a traditional dueling pianos show; it's a fun-filled event filled with music, adult humor, and plenty of shenanigans. Sponsored generously through the TrueNorth Companies, this evening will not only entertain you, but also raise precious funds that continue to fuel the artistic capabilities of the Chorale.

Our 7th Annual Hunger Fight in Cedar Rapids will be held June 5-6 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cedar Rapids Convention Complex.

We look forward to engaging with fellow Iowans to package 225,000 Taco Mac meals to feed hungry children here in Iowa, distributed by HACAP. Morning, afternoon and evening shifts are available to accommodate all schedules.

Join ImpactCR on the afternoon of June 5th and get your hands dirty with Feed Iowa First on their farm in Wanatee Park (formerly Squaw Creek Park). We will be planting culturally specific crops on their farm that will be harvested and shared with families in our community. This is a great opportunity to utilize that VTO (volunteer time off) benefit you have through your employer. Get a group of your co-workers together and sign up for this impactful volunteer experience. After our hard work, we will enjoy a beverage at Big Grove Brewery in downtown CR.

The advisory committee is excited to announce a new approach for June. Instead of hosting our own event, we believe it would be great to have Inclusive ICR coalition members show support for the great community events happening in June. This approach not only strengthens our community ties but also aligns with one of our strategic goals of increasing the visibility of our coalition.

We are encouraging everyone to join us at one or both of the following events:

Iowa City Pride Parade - Saturday, June 15^th at 12:00 p.m. Inclusive ICR members will gather at 11:30 in the Ped Mal by the pickleball courts to support and watch the parade together. We encourage you to wear your company or Inclusive ICR shirts.
Juneteenth Festival in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, June 15^th from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at NewBo City Market – please stop by and support the festival. If you'd like to connect with other Inclusive members, please visit The Gazette Booth between 1-3 p.m
