Pragmatic Cybersecurity for Small Businesses

Join fellow Alumni for a fun filled afternoon of Shenanigans with a Side of Golf!

The LFS Alumni Golf Outing is a fun way to reconnect with classmates and meet fellow alumni. This event is an opportunity to sharpen your golf game, connect with others and serves as a fundraiser for the LFS Youth Program.

Check-in begins at 1 p.m. with a 2 p.m. shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded following the tournament for the best overall score, longest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin, worst overall score, the class with the most attendance and more! Cost to play is $75/individual alumni who has paid dues, or $125 for alumni who have not paid dues. All tickets include food and live music afterwards.

Mulligans will be sold for $5 each.

NEW: Mini-Golf Tickets - This year we've added a mini-golf option for those who want to enjoy the game on a smaller scale and still enjoy an afternoon off with LFS alumni. Mini-golf teams will consist of 2 players and tee off with another two-person team. Check-in begins at 2pm for a 2:30 shotgun start. Cost to play mini-golf is $35/individual alumni who has paid dues, or $45 for alumni who have not paid dues.All tickets include food and live music afterwards.

Join us to help clean up Indian Creek! Meet at the Barn (6665 Otis Rd SE), from there we will start near where Indian Creek meets the Cedar River and head up to Bertram Bridge. Our plan is to walk the creek picking up trash in the water, ditches, and banks of Indian Creek. Come prepared to get wet and dirty! Nature Center staff will bring first aid kit, trash bags, and gloves. Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle, snack, sunscreen, bug repellent, hat and water shoes or similar. Free. One of the most popular downtown events of the year, Market After Dark, presented by ImOn Communications, returns for the eighth year on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
