Went there July 5 th for the Billy Idol concert
Nice venue for an outdoor concert beer prices were reasonable
We went to will call to pick up tickets and a downpour burst out. Do you think the casino would allow people in the doors to get out of the rain? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!
People tried to walk in and they were told they cannot go that way. Their own employees that were handling the will call tix couldn't get in. People were walking around drenched, water dripping off them.
Riverside casino this is piss poor management and consideration for employees and patrons
I will be heading to the casinos in the Quad Cities for entertainment from now on!

Love this golf course!! If you want a short course, keep looking!!! This mother is LONG!!! For example, the $1000 tee boxes measure out to 7432 yards and most of it seems like it's uphill!!! I'd go from the $500, if I'm feeling cocky, or the $100, if I want a manageable length. Course, for getting as much rain as we have had, is in really good shape. Sand is still fluffy and extremely hard to play out of!! Greens and fairways were in great shape as well. As for the people working there...every single staff member that we met were all super courteous and friendly. Can't wait to go back and eat some more humble pie. . Ps, bring your bug spray or buy some there....they can get a little much.

First of all the rooms are overpriced. They ask $199. I asked for a last minute special on 2 rooms and they came down to $129.so, wow good thing I asked. Then, I didn't realize upon trying to enter the casino floor to gamble that my license expired due to my birthday, turning 33. The DMV was not high on my priority at Christmas time. So after traveling 10 hours with my 6 kids and stopping at a casino hotel hoping to have a great night I was unable to gamble. I understand policies are policies but when a customer has other forms of ID and you can clearly see she is of age and simply an over traveled Mom and not a criminal, you would think an exception could be made. I highly regret giving them my money and when passing through on future trips I will not stop here again.

What can I say about Robert's Buffet? I've been eating here since the casino opened in 2006. Lately the food has been very good! They improved their pizza recipe. Tonight the 2 pizzas sat too long so I asked the chef to kindly make a pepperoni pizza and he did. It was so gooey good. Brisket, prime rib, fried chicken and Chinese tonight. Great salad bar. Soup is good too. Includes your drink. Desserts are excellent. $19.99 price not bad. If you are a Resort Club member you will receive $3.00 off coupons in the mail monthly.
I recommend everyone to try out Roberts Buffet in Riverside, Iowa.

First, I will say that I liked how spacious the rooms are, and some of them have a really nice view over the golf course. Great use of glass to enhance the lightness of the accommodations (and beautiful shower, although the water was often not that warm or that plentiful).
However, the discrepancy between the accessible rooms and the regular rooms is astounding. No effort has been put into making the accessible rooms feel pleasant in any way. The staff even acknowledges this. In comparison with the other rooms, the accessible rooms are shabby, dirty, broken down and dark. This is totally unacceptable and discriminatory.
None of the rooms has adequate soundproofing, which meant that for the duration of my stay I was kept up most or all of the night by people in the hall and slamming doors.
So while the room I had was nice enough, and certainly big, I was not able to enjoy my stay here and won't be coming back.

After hearing great things about lunch buffet at Robert's Buffet @ Riverside Casino this past Monday I decided to go and check it out myself. They are extremely misleading about the price, it literally posted everywhere that the lunch Buffett is $13.99, but I was charged nearly $26.00 - I don't understand how they would feel this is a good marketing strategy or would attract people to come back on a regular basis and I could only imagine what they actually charge for their dinner buffet when it's post at $18-$21 - the price they charge you must be outrageous.

I can only suggest to other patrons that if you decide to visit the casino, avoid Robert's Buffet and being severely overcharged as the meals are not actually priced as advertised!

Their elite sportsbook sucks! There are only 16 NCAA Men's Basketball games today and they only posted moneyline bets for 6 of them. I contacted them about adding the others and they said that they only support games from larger conferences. I checked the William Hill sports app for the Isle casinos in Iowa and they had moneyline betting available for all 16 games today. I'll drive to Altoona to sign up for their William Hill sports betting app. Disappointed.

My review is for the hotel only. I did not use any of the other amenities because of the looming wall of smoke that greets you at the door.

We attended a function at the conference center but had to walk through the lobby and casino to get there. By the time we arrived at our dinner, I felt like I smalled like a giant cigarette.

The hotel room itself was nicely appointed and clean. My biggest suggestion would be a sheer curtain over the window along with the heavy electronic drape. You have two choices ~~ utter darkness or glaring light from the parking lights.

We found the electronic shower curtain a little comical and laughable, but we did love the huge tile shower.

The reception staff was lukewarm in their greeting and enthusiasm.

We may return to play the golf course because it is supposed to be one of the most challenging in all of Iowa, but I don't see us running back for any other reason.

My pedicure at the spa was every bit of disappointment and the price for that was $65+tip! Not well managed for what they're asking. Go anywhere else.

We are regular visitors. We have never had a bad experience at any part of the resort. Enjoy Ruthies. Our host is excellent. Seem to have some luck once in a while. My only comment would be I wish they had more themed games. Willy Wonka, Monopoly, and other branded machines. JMO.
