Event Description: This family-friendly, celebratory race is the culminating event of the 10-week, 20-lesson Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole programs for 3rd–8th grade girls. Join more than 500 girls and their Running Buddies from 30+ area schools in Linn, Johnson, Buchanan, Jefferson, and Iowa Counties! Our 5k is chip-timed and open to all community participants--all ages and abilities welcome. Please join us for this joyful celebration of our girls' accomplishments in their 10-week Girls on the Run season! On-site registration opens at 10:30AM; the race starts at 1:00PM.
