Event Description: Join Next Page Books at 1pm Saturday, July 30 in CSPS Hall as we host a reading by six contributors to Shifts: An Anthology of Women's Growth Through Change. Shifts is a finalist for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards and USA Best Book Awards. Through short stories, essays, and poems, over 30 women from different age groups, geographic locations, marital status, parenting status, and professions share their experiences of growth as a result of change. The book highlights the strength of women as their lives lead to increased confidence and internal peace. This event is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow at Next Page Books. 1105 Third Street SE, Cedar Rapids. Free off-street parking is available directly behind CSPS Hall with lot entrances off 11th Avenue SE and 2nd Street SE.
