Event Description: Enjoy a casual walk along the Sac and Fox Trail to find scenes depicted in Grant Wood’s paintings of Indian Creek and hear stories of Grant Wood’s adventures along Rosedale Road. Meet at the Rosedale Bridge parking lot for the Sac and Fox Trail. The trail is a limestone chip trail (not paved). Walk will be about a mile in total. Preregistration is required by Wednesday, May 4. Register by contacting Erin Thomas at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art: ethomas@crma.org or 319-366-7503. The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art and Indian Creek Nature Center bring you this program in conjunction with the CRMA's exhibition Grant Wood and Marvin Cone: Barns, Farms, and America’s Heartland (February 6 - May 15, 2016). $5 for ICNC or CRMA members; NM $7.
