Event Description: All are welcome to join Social Work faculty and students for the annual Social Work Month Reception, April 7, 3:30 to 5 p.m., Flaherty Community Room, Basile Hall. The event will feature hors d' oeuvres and a presentation from Dr. Alissa King titled “Live More, Fear Less.” Dr. King is an Assistant Professor of Social Sciences at Kirkwood Community College and owner of Everybody Bend Yoga, a mobile yoga business that takes yoga to the people.
