Event Description: Mike Lutzenkirchen will present an emotional and inspiring speech entitled "Philip's legacy...What legacy are you leaving?" at Coe College on Thursday, Oct. 29, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Sinclair Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. A 1985 Coe alumnus, Mike is the father of the late Auburn tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen, who died tragically in an alcohol-rated traffic accident. Using the lessons of his son's untimely passing and showcasing incredible strength in sharing an unimaginable loss, Lutzenkirchen will speak about making smart choices, preparation, faith, courage and more.
