Event Description: The annual Turkey Trot in Marion is a terrific way for family and friends to race for a worthy cause. Participants of all ages are invited to gather at Marion High School on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 to run or walk in the 23nd Annual Return of the Turkey Trot, beginning at 9 a.m. The race will consist of an 8K run with chip timing and a 4K run or walk. The famous pancake breakfast at Marion High School after the race is for trotters and non-trotters. Discounts for early registration are available at $15 for youth ($10 for no T-shirt) and $25 for adults ($15 for no T-shirt) until November 3. The price increases to $32 for adults from November 3 through race day. Breakfast and chip timing are included in the registration fee. Those not participating can enjoy the pancake breakfast for $5.
