Event Description: Birds are in all habitats including our backyards. Use STEM science techniques to discover what makes a bird a bird, use your “beak” to engineer a nest and capture food, and experience being a migrating bird to learn about challenges and survival. Find out who’s visiting your neighborhood and who has migrated as you explore ways birds survive Iowa winters. Please register by Sunday, December 15. $5 per student. Register on line.
