Event Description: Let your imagination run away with you at Sci-Fest: Family Fun Day at the CRMA, as we celebrate science fiction and fantasy art with free admission and family friendly activities. There are lots of make-and-take art projects for kids including superhero masks, dinosaur fossils, and fairy tale treasure hunts. There will be free Out of This World: Science Fiction and Fantasy Art gallery tours led by Sarah Clemens, ICON's 2015 Artist Guest of Honor at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (Tour visitors should gather in in the Museum atrium near the admission desk. Tours will last approximately 45 minutes.) In addition, Iowa Innovation Learning Center’s planetarium will be here so kids can learn about space. This is a family-friendly day open to all ages. Costumes are welcome.
