Event Description: Mount Mercy University will host the first annual Lunar New Year Festival on the Hill on Sunday, February 22. This event will promote Asian culture in a whole new way! Enjoy Chinese and Vietnamese games, live performances including Filipino dancers, music from South East Asia, and even a dragon dance! Authentic Vietnamese, Chinese, and Filipino foods will be catered from local restaurants Egg Roll House, Mai Pho and JoJo's Oriental Store for no more than $2.00 per plate. The night will “end with a bang” with fun New Year demonstrations. This event is free and open to the public.
