Event Description: Join Trees Forever and partners for an invasive species removal event at Faulkes Heritage Woods in Marion! Japanese Barberry is an invasive plant that has begun to take over the woodland. By removing it, we can help the native ecosystem once again thrive. Come and give back to the woods and meet others interested in doing the same! No experience necessary. This is a partnership event involving Trees Forever, the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, the City of Marion Parks and Recreation, and Winding Pathways, LLC.
