Event Description: Many geological forces have shaped Iowa’s landscape. Learn how oceans, erosion, rivers and glaciers have sculpted and carved “the land between two rivers.” Learn to identify rocks, discover how they form, and perform experiments on common Iowa minerals to identify them. This is a STEM science program for home school students and others. Register at indiancreeknaturecenter.org or by calling 319-362-0664. $5/student. Free for parents.
