Event Description: Join Teresa Downing-Matibag, Ph.D., for “Human Trafficking: Strategies for Prevention and Intervention Workshop” on Sept. 18 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in Flaherty Community Room located in Basile Hall. Attend this free, public workshop sponsored by Mount Mercy Ministry and Mission along with Cedar Rapids Gives, and learn how we can prevent young people in the U.S. and abroad from being raped for profit in our own backyards.
