Event Description:
A flu virus was carried by an American soldier to Spain and spread worldwide as the “Spanish flu,” killing millions. Professor of Nursing Mary Tarbox will discuss how WWI and the flu pandemic forever changed medicine on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. in Donnelly 300.
This event is part of Mount Mercy’s WWI remembrance and reflection series that will continue through mid-November.
