Event Description: The Aug. 26 panel discussion will take a broad look at the historic and cultural legacy of World War I and emphasize how events of 100 years ago still echo today. Panel members include Jim Grove, Joy Ochs, Joe Sheller, David Klope, Allison McNeese, Mary Tarbox, Tony Nickle and Gerald Kreitzer. Reception to follow at 8 p.m. in Mount Mercy’s Busse Library. Attendees are invited to enjoy WWI displays. This event will take place in Mount Mercy’s Betty Cherry Hall and is the kick-off event for Mount Mercy’s WWI remembrance and reflection series that will continue through mid-November.
