Event Description: Many mint family plant species live at Indian Creek Nature Center. Some are showy, some less conspicuous. Some smell wonderful, and others smell... "strong." Learn to identify members of this aromatic and tasty family and then stroll the prairie with Botanist Christine Kirpes in search of as many mint family members as you can find. Enjoy some refreshing mint iced tea and discuss other ways mints can be used for flavoring food or enhancing various products we use every day.
