Event Description: The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art (CRMA) is excited to announce our Free Summer Admission Program for 2014! Beginning Tuesday, July 1, the CRMA will be free for all visitors thanks to our generous sponsors: Built by Pros, Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust, United Fire Group, and Transamerica. This limited time offer will last through August 31, 2014. The CRMA is a great place to spend the day with your family and friends. We have seven wonderful exhibitions currently on display, so there’s going to be something for everyone to enjoy! Our July and August exhibitions include: Grant Wood: American Impressionist Carl Van Vechten: Photographer to the Stars Marvin Cone on My Mind: The Ceramics of Dean Schwarz The Restless Spirit: American Art from the Collection Grant Wood: In Focus Art in Roman Life Mauricio Lasansky: Master Printmaker The Museum is open noon to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday; noon to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays excepting Farmers Market Saturdays, which are noon to 5:00 p.m.
