Event Description: Native American cultures named each full moon after important happenings in nature that occur during the moon’s cycle. Celebrate June’s Strawberry Moon with a casual walk to the top of Indian Creek Nature Center’s highest hill to observe the moon rise, munch on some strawberries and enjoy a moonlit walk. We will meet at the ICNC Lynch Wetland parking lot east of the ICNC barn on Otis Rd. Register online at www.indiancreeknaturecenter.org or call 319-362-0664. COST: M $5; NM $8; children $2.
