Event Description: As part of National Crime Victims' Rights Week (April 6-12, 2014), Horizons' Survivors Program is hosting a screening of the film Heaven's Rain.  This film is based on the true story of Brooks Douglass, a former Oklahoma senator who witnessed his parents' murder and sister's assault as a teenager.  As survivors, Brooks and his sister faced a long path to justice and healing. After the movie, there will be a Q&A session and a discussion about the work that Horizons' Survivors Program does in Eastern Iowa.
