Event Description: Trees Forever is marking a milestone this year as the Marion-based nonprofit celebrates its 25th anniversary with 25 special events. The first anniversary event takes place March 11, as Trees Forever hosts a free night of learning and inspiration on the important role of trees and native plants for pollinators. University of Delaware professor, Dr. Doug Tallamy, author of “Bringing Nature Home: How You Can Sustain Wildlife with Native Plants,” will discuss the important ecological roles of the plants in our landscapes and how you can garden with these roles in mind. This event is free.
