Event Description: Dr. Anna Waterman, assistant professor of biology, will present “Strangers in Strange Lands: Migration in the Megalithic Cultures of Late Prehistoric Iberia” on March 11 at 5 p.m. in Flaherty Community Room located in Basile Hall. Dr. Waterman will discuss the use of strontium isotope analysis on burial populations throughout Spain and Portugal and how this analysis helps recognize individuals who lived in geologically different regions during childhood and thus can be identified as migrants. Her presentation is a part of Mount Mercy University’s Faculty Forums.
