Event Description:
The Iowa Centers for Enterprise are excited to announce Corporate Innovation Training & Workshop lead by Bob Dorf, co-author of the Startup Owner’s Manual. This workshop is designed to inspire innovation in your company by introducing Lean LaunchPad methodologies.
A serial entrepreneur, Bob Dorf, left a lucrative job seven companies. He later went on to coach, advise, and invest in nearly 30 more. The results of his endeavors as a founder are, as he says, “two home runs, two base hits, and three great tax losses.” Seven of the startups he advised and invested in IPO’ed, while six of the 30 went “straight into the toilet.” In all, he says, “an incredible 42 year entrepreneurial training program!”
Bob has trained teams of internal innovators from some of the largest corporations in the land, including GE, Carvajal SA, and Merck, among many others. He teaches the Lean LaunchPad program at Columbia Business School, where he is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship, and has led training sessions around the world.
