Event Description: The American Advertising Awards (formerly the ADDYs) are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition. Conducted annually by AAF, the local American Advertising Awards is the first of a three-tiered, national competition. Local winners compete against other winners in one of 14 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the National American Advertising Awards competition. The evening begins with cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres at 6:00 p.m. The awards presentation follows at 7:30 p.m. Cost for the event: $45 in advance $25 students $50 at the door
