Event Description: Learn the basics required to safely and successfully raise hens in urban and suburban areas. Participants will receive a certificate of completion enabling them to get a permit to legally keep chickens in Cedar Rapids. Come learn about chickens at the Indian Creek Nature Center! Advance registration is Required by 4:00 pm Wednesday, Oct. 9th. Cost: Member:$7; Non-Member:$10.
