Event Description: Prestige Dance Studio has announced it's grand opening and open house scheduled for August 18th from 1:00-4:00pm. The open house will allow enrolled and prospective students to explore the studio, meet instructors and experience the variety of techniques offered through fall enrollment. The open house is free and open to the community. Classes within Prestige will range from Mommy & Me starting at 12 months of age to Advanced Hip Hop for adults, alongside a variety of levels for those with special barriers to learning. Jess Novotny, the dance studio owner and artistic director, comes from years of professional dance experience and is excited to return to her home state at a true milestone in Iowa's Creative Corridor. "I am excited to share my experience and passion for dance in a safe, technically sound and creative environment. Students can enjoy individualized attention in our small class sizes, learn the value of hard work and perseverance and how to apply those values in and outside of the classroom." Jess has been honored with choreography and most entertaining awards at competitions in both Illinois and Iowa. Backed by Jess’ love of the performing arts and her 8+ years of professional instruction experience, Prestige Dance Studio offers a fresh and innovative style completely unique to the Cedar Rapids area.
