Event Description: Area college students may attend concurrent sessions and small-group discussions conducted by professionals in design, copywriting, account management, non-profit work and other fields. Students may also bring their portfolios and resumes to be evaluated. Luncheon speaker Macy Koch, Director of Social Strategy at Brand Driven Digital, will talk about personal branding, why it is important to care what your brand says about you and what it can mean in landing your first job. The day will conclude with a panel discussion from 2 to 3 p.m. Education Day is presented by the American Advertising Federation: Cedar Rapids-Iowa City.
