Event Description: Join ImpactCR for the BigWig Lunch Talk (BLT) featuring guest speaker John Bloomhall, president and chief executive officer of Diamond V Mills. During the BigWig Lunch Talk, we invite attendees to come prepared with questions and enjoy a casual conversation with one of our community's most involved company leaders. This event is free, and we encourage attendees to bring their lunch!

Bloomhall is the third generation of his family to lead the worldwide animal feed ingredient company. He fulfills his passion for community over the years by having served on various boards, including Brucemore, Kirkwood Community College Foundation, Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, Tanager Place, Indian Creek Nature Center... the list goes on! He has received many honors, including the Entrepreneurial Achievement Award by the Iowa Biotechnology Association for his commitment to supporting the industry through facility expansion, job creation and product innovation. He also received the 2010 Ernst & Young Entreprenuer of the Year award in Agriculture for the Central Midwest Region.
