Event Description: Danica Patrick, Kyle Busch, and Dario Franchitti in Iowa? You bet. These are just some of the best-known drivers in motor sports who have raced on the biggest racetrack in Iowa, the Iowa Speedway in Newton, 30 miles east of Des Moines. Speedway CEO Doug Fritz will speak to the American Advertising Federation: Cedar Rapids-Iowa City about marketing this state-of-the-art facility to fans, racers and sponsors. Fritz became CEO of Iowa Speedway in September 2011. He is the former president of Richmond International Raceway and has more than 25 years of experience in the motorsports industry.
