Event Description: Course # CBEN-1050 36509 Tuesday February 19th from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Kirkwood Training & Outreach Services Center 3375 Armar Drive, Marion, IA 52302 The cost is $25 and registration can be done through the Kirkwood website. Course content covers how to set up payroll for the business that is ready to hire new employees. Learn the basics of payroll set up, options, primary laws that affect payroll and hiring of employees, taxes and related forms for filing with the government. This course has been pre-approved for 2.25 General re-certification hours for PHR, SPHR, GPHR through the HR Certification Institute. Course is being taught by Brenda LaMarche, President of BRL HR Consulting.
