Event Description: The Cedar Valley Humane Society is holding a chili supper fundraiser at Bertram Township Hall, 211 Angle Street, Bertram on Saturday, January 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. The menu includes chili, cornbread, baked potatoes and all the fixin’s. Representatives from Scentsy, Thirty One Gifts, Tupperware and Origami Owl will donate a portion of their proceeds to the Cedar Valley Humane Society. There will be a 50/50 raffle as well as door prizes. Advance tickets for adults are $6. Seniors age 60+ are $4. Children age 4-12 are $3. Kids 3 and under eat free. Tickets at the door cost an extra dollar. Register in advance at www.cvhumane.org or by calling (319) 362-6288. Advance registration closes Friday, January 11 at 3 p.m. All proceeds from the chili supper will benefit animals at the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
