Event Description: Balloons, Etc & The Costume Emporium is your LOCALLY OWNED Halloween Headquarters! You’re Invited to Our Halloween Open House—October 5th, 6th and 7th! On Friday 10/5 10am – 8pm—Free refreshments while you shop and a Halloween Craft for the Kids! On Saturday 10/6 10am – 8pm—Special Guests—Appearances by the Cedar Rapids Roller Girls and Sparkles The Clown throughout the day! On Sunday 10/7 12pm – 5pm—Special Effects Make Up Demonstrations!! At 1pm there will be a Zombie Make Up Demo. Followed by a Q & A Make Up Session—bring your questions: How to make realistic looking bruises or burns? What’s the difference between all the different types of Blood? What do I need—grease make up or water based? How do Special Effects Prosthetics Work?
