Event Description:
Skilled Iowa Initiative – a state initiative to assist employers and workers.

This program works with employers across the state to encourage the hiring of "National Career Readiness Certificate" holders as a way to reduce turnover and on-the-job training. The overall goal of the program is to implement "Skilled Iowa Communities" as an economic development strategy that provides a framework for validating skilled Iowa workers who are ready to fill current and future jobs.
