Event Description: The large, opinionated designer who puts the "graphic" in graphic design, Aaron Draplin of Draplin Design Company(DDC) in Portland, Oregon ( http://draplin.com ) delivers a self-described sucker punch of a talk that aims to provide bonafide proof of effective design, divulge the highs and lows of a ferociously independent existence, and offer tall tales from his notable career in the cutthroat world of contemporary graphic design. Featuring scientific proof and state-of-the-art multimedia techniques, Draplin invites everyone brave enough to show up. "If you are a youngster, you may find yourself inspired to attack your design future in a different way.
