Event Description: Cathryn Sloane of the University of Iowa recently posted an article on NextgenJounal.com titled Why Every Social Media Manager Should Be Under 25. A savvy social media person such as Cathryn knew that the title alone would be enough to get people of a certain age to click on her post, read it, and comment. The clicks alone may have been her main goal. But the article also generated a great deal of discussion on the internet. We’d like to continue the discussion. How does social media fit into your life and business? Is your involvement and gain relative to your age? What are you missing, if anything? We welcome all ages to this lunch seminar at Shores Event Center, one that will allow us to have a conversation about what each generation brings to the social media table – and how we can learn and share with each other.
