Sheila Samuelson returned to Iowa to launch Bright Green Strategy, a sustainability consulting firm, in early 2010. Bright Green Strategy helps businesses improve their environmental and social impacts by designing sustainability programs that address energy and water use, waste, environment, community engagement, health and wellness, and other areas. Sheila has an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco and over 7 years’ experience working on sustainability projects with large companies (like Starbucks, Staples, McDonald's), local governments, organizations, and local businesses. Sheila is a founding member of the Regional Sustainable Business Alliance, a professional group formed out of the Economic Alliance.
