VenuWorks of Cedar Rapids is pleased to announce the eight national vendors that will participate in the 25th Annual Cedar Rapids BBQ Roundup. Vendors include returning favorites Famous Dave’s, Porky N Beans, Willingham’s BBQ, Texas Thunder, Chicago BBQ Company and Big Boned BBQ Co. Carolina Rib King and Cowboy’s Barbeque & Rib Co. are new to this year’s BBQ. Come check out Carolina Rib King who has been featured on Destination America Channel’s “BBQ Pitmasters”.
Daily activities included WOWBALLS and BODY BUMPERZ along with a caricature artist and face painting. Patrons can register to win a Green Mountain WoodFire grill from The Grill Works in Marion and can get out of the heat at the Coors Light Cold Refreshment Zone.
University of Iowa Credit Union is returning as a sponsor of FREE LUNCH ADMISSION. This program offers free lunch admission on Thursday and Friday from 11am-3pm. The Budweiser BBQ Bandwagon will return by popular demand on Thursdays and Fridays 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.

This year’s BBQ Roundup returns to the corner of 8th Avenue and 2nd Street SE across from the new Federal Courthouse. Event times are: Thursday, June 21, 11am-10pm; Friday, June 22 and Saturday, June 23 11am-11pm; and Sunday, June 24 11am-7pm.
