Event Description: Dolphin Tale Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick, Jr. Ashley Judd Rated PG; 119 minutes; 2012 Based on true events, this family film is about Winter, a young dolphin who lost her tail in a crab trap, and Sawyer, the introverted 11-year-old boy who befriends her. Sawyer meets the rescued dolphin at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, a marine rehabilitation center where she lives. Sawyer rallies friends and family alike to save Winter by convincing a pioneering doctor to create a unique prosthetic appendage to restore the dolphin's ability to swim. Event Details: Admission is FREE! FREE Kids' Activities Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets Guests who wish to view the movie from their vehicles are encouraged to arrive early due to limited space. The entrance for vehicles does not open to the public until 7:00 p.m. Enter the event site at the corner of 6th St and 1st Ave SE.
