Event Description:
What is the number 1 cause of death in the Black community? Violence? High blood pressure? Heart disease? The truth is that all of these causes combined do not come close to the actual answer: abortion. For the first time in history, the number of Black children born is less than the number of parents birthing them, a loss of 13 million (1,000 every day) since 1973. One-fourth of all Blacks who could be living now are gone.
Karl Cassell, from the Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission comments, “Attending this event will demonstrate the importance you place on the legacy we will leave to our children.”
Celebrate African American History month at the African American Museum on Sunday, February 26 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm with the Countdown to Extinction: Depopulation in the African American Community at the African American Museum. The event will be a community conversation exploring the impact of the eugenics movement and abortion and its fallout in the Black community in America. Pastors, civil rights leaders, and Coalition for Life will gather at the African American Museum in Cedar Rapids, to present the history and foundations of the eugenics philosophy.
