Brandy Tasting
March 21st 2012
5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
The word Brandy comes from the Dutch word brandewijn, ("burnt wine"), which is how the straightforward Dutch traders who introduced it to Northern Europe from Southern France and Spain in the 16th century described wine that had been "burnt," or boiled, in order to distill it. Come and try a variety of styles of brandy at this tasting. We will try a variety of types and qualifications of Brandy including Armagnac, VSOP, XO, Calvados and more. As always the tasting will include light appetizers.
Admissions are $20 and receive a 10% discount on any brandy purchase.
