Event Description: Workshop participants will explore the history and role of fire in prairie management. Learn to set goals and develop burn plans, safe techniques for prescribed fires, fire equipment and how to conduct a burn. Wear old, natural-fiber clothing; bring leather gloves, a water bottle and a sack lunch. Fee - M:$15, NM:$20 Registration is required by 4pm on Wednesday, March 28th.
