Event Description: Skywalk Group’s Leadership and Development focuses on developing the necessary skills that a manager or leader needs to possess in the workplace. Topics covered in the classroom include: Essential Skills of Leadership Essential Skills of Communication Goal Setting Providing Performance Feedback Target Audience: New leaders/managers, employees who are considering management as a career path within the organization, and current leaders/managers who are looking to refresh their skill set. Dates: March 16, April 6, April 27, May 18 2012 Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm Location: Skywalk Group Training & Development Center 210 2nd Street SE, 2nd Floor Cedar Rapids, IA 52401 Investment: $995 (includes 4 classroom sessions and 4 additional e-learning sessions based on the results of a needs assessment)

Skywalk Group Training & Development Center is located on the skywalk in the 2nd floor of the Dows Building. Enter the Dows Building at 210 2nd Street SE in downtown Cedar Rapids. Go to the 2nd floor and follow the signs for the Skywalk Group Training & Development Center. Parking is free until 9:00am in downtown.
