Event Description:
Mount Mercy University will offer an information session on its competitive new graduate program, Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, on Tuesday, March 20 at 5:30 p.m. in Basile Hall’s Flaherty Community Room.
Mount Mercy’s program is designed for working adults and offers convenient evening weekday classes. The information session will include an overview of the program and a question and answer session with faculty and current students.
The only institution in Iowa to offer this dynamic degree, Mount Mercy’s MFT program is grounded in the idea that individuals who seek psycho- therapeutic assistance are influenced by a complex set of factors. Today’s therapists need to be fully equipped to understand these dynamic systems in order to effectively help individuals, couples and families live more productive lives.
