Event Description:
Mount Mercy’s Janalyn Hanson White Gallery will showcase the artwork of graphic design artist Bill Basler during a special exhibit titled “From color to cattle to coffee: A 29-year Graphic Design Compendium.” The exhibit runs now through February 10, Monday – Friday, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Basler has been widely recognized in the graphic design and marketing fields. His firm’s work has been featured in Communication Arts, Graphis, How, and Print, the most respected journals for graphic design and visual communication. Basler Design Group has also won hundreds of local, regional, and national Addy Awards and National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) awards. He most recently worked with the producers of the hit TV series “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” to create artwork for a newly remodeled house in West Union, Iowa, featured on the show.
