Event Description: Eastern Iowa Human Resources (EIHRA) monthly meeting. Susan Freed, Brown Davis Law Firm, will present on the Health Care Reform in 2012: Current Challenges & Concerns. This session will focus on the 2012 reform requirements for employer-sponsored health plans as well as providing guidance to employers on preparing for 2014. Topics to be discussed will include W-2 wage reporting, summary of benefits and coverage, upcoming insurance market reforms, and employer penalty provisions. The meeting will be held at Kirkwood Center for Continuing Education/The Hotel from 8:00-9:00 a.m. with breakfast and networking beginning at 7:30a.m. Event is free for EIHRA members and $15.00 for guests.
