Event Description:
The former Bena Farm was opened to the public in October 1996 -- 15 years ago. Over the years, the 70 acres of farmland have been transformed; wildflowers have returned and children connect with the land Carrie Bena loved and lived on for much of a century. To celebrate the transformation, we'll enjoy music, gorgeous fall scenery, prairie and woodland walks, and the dedication of a newly restored wetland. Park along Otis Road near the Lynch Wetland. Join the crowd near the new wetland just north of Otis. In case of rain, meet in the barn. Free.
