Event Description: Take a family-friendly walk with a Nature Center naturalist to learn as you walk to various American Indian and European settlement sites at the Nature Center. We'll discuss ways to "read the land" for clues to prior use and share artifacts discovered on the surface of the land. This is a two mile walk on grass trails. Fee is $3 for ICNC members ($7 for member families); $5 for non-members ($12 for non-member families). Register by calling 362-0664 or register online through our website.


Directions:
The Indian Creek Nature Center is located at the intersection of Otis and Bertram Roads SE in Cedar Rapids. Bertram Road may be accessed from either Mt Vernon Road SE or Highway 13. Watch for the brown Indian Creek Nature Center signs.
